Motorists are advised that resealing work will be undertaken on the section of road, near the helipad 10 kms south-west of Aratukla.

What to expect:

- Two lanes of the three lanes will be closed at a time;

- Up to approximately 20 minute delays may be experienced at a time;

- Work is expected to commence on 15 December and may take up to three days to complete, weather permitting;

- Motorists are advised to consider rescheduling their journey or looking at alternative routes if possible;

- Work will be undertaken between the hours of 7am and 5pm.

It is noted that the road closure can cause inconvenience for motorists. However, the closure is necessary to undertake resealing work to improve road surface grip for safety reasons.
