Queensland Health Payroll Disaster - No Pay for Workers! |
- 76,000 pays were processed during the second pay run of the new system. Employees will receive their pay on Wednesday 7 April 2010.
- A priority process for casual employees has been put in place. This will ensure that casual employees who have had paperwork submitted within the timeframes are paid up to and including Sunday 4 April 2010.
- Please note the ‘hot cheque’ process was implemented for the Easter period only. All requests for manual payments must now be made through the adhoc pay process.
- Ad hoc payments for employees missing all or a significant portion (i.e. greater than 10%) of their pay will continue to be processed with highest priority. Payments are being managed through a priority process that considers individual circumstances and missing values.
- Line managers, please continue to ensure rosters and adjustments are sent to QHSSP on a daily basis as this is the greatest assistance to payroll and will enable workloads to be managed and supported as well as assisting with correct payments.
- Payroll Services is making every effort to ensure adjustments are processed as quickly as possible. Your continued patience is appreciated. It is expected to take 2-3 pay cycles for all out standing roster corrections to be fully resolved and processed. All employees will have their corrected payments processed.
- If you still have concerns about being significantly under paid, please contact your local payroll office or union representative.
- The statewide hotline number (07 3636 0737) was put in place for the Easter period only, if you require assistance for a payroll related matter please contact your local payroll office or register a complaint for attention to Payroll Complaints SSP via Groupwise
- Attached is the contact list for local QHSSP and People and Culture teams
