Heavy Vehicle Safety, Everyone's Responsibility

The Queensland Government's Transport Legislation Bill i.e their Chain of Responsibility Legislation has been amended.

 The Bill now states that everyone who contributes to heavy vehicle loads, whether it be owners, packers, operators or receivers are accountable for operating legally and safely.

The QLD TWU welcomes the Government's amendments, as everyone should be held accountable for their inactions.
