Revamped guide keeps drivers and truckies on track

Queensland Main Roads has released a new Guide to Queensland Roads.

The new guide lists rest ares and stopping places for heavy vehicle drivers, GPS co-ordinates for all rest areas and driver reviver locations.

Main Roads Minister Craig Wallace says maps of Queensland and South East Queensland are also included, as well as detailed information on road surface types.

The revamped guide is free and can be down loaded at www.mainroads.qld.gov.au or picked up from the Main Roads district offices and tourist information centres across the state.
