Qantas Jobs
QANTAS KICKS AUSTRALIAN WORKERS TO THE CURB TO MAKE MORE PROFIT

The QLD Transport Workers' Union of Australia is calling on Qantas to start looking after the welfare of their employees.

The call comes with Qantas planning to slash their services and jobs in Queensland due to rising fuel costs.

But TWU Branch Secretary Hughie Williams says,"The airline has already slugged customers with a 4% increase to offset fuel rises."

Mr Williams says, "Qantas is on track to achieve a $1.5 billion profit this year, they achieved huge profits in the last 5 years and their kicking their workers to the curb to make more money."

"What happened to this Australian Company looking after its workers?"

"I'll tell you, MONEY and GREED."

The TWU is disgusted with Qantas's attitude of putting their profits before the wellbeing of their employees and the peak union body will be fighting for their jobs.
