Better Wages & Conditions

TWU Members through certified agreements get better pay and conditions than those being paid the basic award. Workers who are members of a trade union earn an average of 30% more than non union members.

Protection Against Unfair Dismissal

In the event of harsh and unfair treatment from your employer you will have the power of the TWU on your side. Your Union, the TWU will mediate on your behalf, represent you in grievance procedures, and take your case to the Industrial Relations Commission if necessary.
