GOVERNMENT PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS BANNED

The Newman Government has banned all Government Departments and Queensland Councils from taking your union dues through payroll.

While transitional provisions allow employers to continue to make payroll deduction for existing employees up to 1 July 2014, some State Government entities have already ceased payroll deduction of union fees.

This means you and your mates risk being caught without the protection of your union.

SECURE YOUR FUTURE NOW – convert to direct debit today.

To continue being a financial member of your union, regardless of whether your employer has ceased payroll deduction or not, now is the time to convert your membership deductions to direct debit.
