FACT: Classifications will not be in line with other Qantas Group workers like QGS. Jetstar even tried to make you do more for the same pay.
FACT: 96% of workers won’t be paid the towing and training allowances
FACT: Not one single new full-time position is guaranteed over the next four years
FACT: Overtime payments for the 7th day are unlikely to be paid because Jetstar have said they will only roster you for 6 days
FACT: Overtime rates for shift changes with less than 48hrs notice are unlikely to be paid due to the introduction of the Groundstar rostering system
FACT: Rates of pay will not keep up with increases in inflation. Your last payrise was in 2013. Because of the wage freeze the Jetstar offer amounts to 9% over 5 ½ years
FACT: The ‘B-Rate’ will remain, dividing workers at Jetstar by paying different rates of pay for the same work. A divided workforce only benefits the boss
